Our mission: Supporting our local community through partnerships: voluntary, community, youth & faith.

Our mission is to improve the social and education wellbeing of the local community, with a particular focus on young people. For over 30 years NCN has provided a range of services to the community in Burnley and East Lancashire. Our services range from providing basic welfare advice to the delivery of specific programmes that help to provide much needed social and economic development opportunities to a significant number of people from the local area who, for a variety of reasons, struggle to achieve in education and gain meaningful employment. We look to provide young people with much needed practical experience of the world of work as well as opening up personal development opportunities for them that can help provide the basic learning that will improve their life chances.

“Since the counselling I’ve been able to look back at where depression started and how it has affected me over the years. I know that it’s not my fault and I used to blame myself but I don’t do that anymore.”
